Job DescriptionThis role supports PSI’s legal needs in Taiwan as well as internationally with a primary focus on contracts related to clinical research. As an Associate Legal Counsel you will work closely with PSI’s international legal team as well as with local and international project teams to determine appropriate terms and conditions of contracts and to provide legal advice and support.
Office-based in Taipei
Your role will include:
Reviewing, drafting and negotiating clinical trial contractsReviewing, drafting and negotiating contracts with suppliers, vendors and other business partnersProviding legal advice and support within the Legal department and to other PSI departmentsProviding advice and support on compliance with clinical research legislation, company law, employment law, data protection and other legislationResearching, and analyzing various legal mattersDeveloping, reviewing and ensuring compliance with PSI policies, procedures and instructionsIdentifying and researching various legal issues and assessing their impact on PSI’s businessAssisting in any other legal matters as and when requestedQualificationsLaw degreeGood knowledge of commercial, corporate and contract law, as well as other relevant legislationGood knowledge of personal information, cyber and data security lawsA minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial legal practice (law firm or in-house position), ideally with international exposure and exposure to the pharmaceutical sectorFluency in English and Chinese, oral and writtenExcellent negotiation skillsAbility to work accurately with strong attention to detailExcellent organizational, interpersonal, written and oral communication skillsAbility to prioritize and work efficiently under tight deadlinesAbility to work independently but also within a teamExcellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office package, in particular MS WordAdditional InformationIf you feel it is time to make your skills and knowledge visible within a growing company with true focus on its people, then PSI is the right choice for you.
