Position:

100% Associate Lecturer - 2-year Full-time Fixed-Term contract

This position aims to provide additional teaching, research, admin and coordination support to current academics through lecturing and academic responsibilities in Pharmacy Practice, Clinical Pharmacy, Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Chemistry for the workplace-based learning (WBL) component of the BPharm degree.

Brief Description
Key responsibilities include the following:

Lecturing and research

Appointment as a Responsible Pharmacist at Trinity Pharmacy

Workplace-based learning curriculum design and coordination (includes online teaching and ward rounds)


SAPC assessment as well as OnBASE (online) and academic administration


Requirements:

A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (BPharm)

Registration as a Pharmacist (and clearance to be an RP) with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) is not negotiable


Previous teaching experience in Clinical Pharmacy/Pharmacy Practice at tertiary level is not negotiable


Computer Literacy (pharmacy software), good communication and management skills


Ability to work in a team


Preferences:

Member of the PSSA/APSSA

Registered for a PG degree in Pharmacy Practice
