The Associate II/Credit Risk Specialist,supports mitigating customer credit risk by working with Moody’s Credit Catalyst system to set credit limits for new and existing customers. Monitors prepayment orders to ensure customer payment are received in advance of shipment. Assists business partners with the structuring of non-standard terms and conditions. Maintains Nordson’s AR Master Data integrity. Position requires an individual who has broad knowledge of analyzing credit risk to ensure limited exposure to Nordson Corporation.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Works with Moody’s Credit Catalyst to ensure credit limit logic is performing according to Nordson standards.Monitor customer prepayment orders and reviews for payment. Ensures prompt application of payment to invoice so that order may be released appropriatelyInteract with customers, both internally and externally to identify and resolve outstanding issues in a timely and professional mannerMaintain AR Master Data integrity by monitoring invoice failures and addressing root cause issue with the appropriate support groupsEnsure customer accounts are assigned to appropriate collectors and customer risk categories are accurate to maintain consistent treatment of like customersPerforms other duties as assigned.Education and Experience Requirements
Education:
Requires High School Diploma or GED; Associate or Bachelor degree preferredExperience:
Minimum 2 years relevant experience is required with an Associate degreeMinimum 4 years relevant experience is required without a degreeStrong background in credit extensionPreferred Skills and Abilities
