Summary:

Founded by legendary aircraft designer Burt Rutan, Scaled Composites is a 40-year-old aerospace company continually working to push boundaries, prove out ideas, and influence the future. We are a rapid prototyping and manufacturing facility, designing, building, and testing proof-of-concept and prototype vehicles. We have flown an average of one new aircraft type per year over our 40-year history such as Proteus, GlobalFlyer, SpaceShipOne, Model 401, and Stratolaunch.

 

Duties and Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Responsible for most of the following areas: talent management, labor relations, employment, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and/or training and development.Assisting in the development and implementation of policies and procedures. Identifying opportunities to improve the quality and efficiency of relevant processes. Handling confidential information in a professional manner, respecting employee privacy while maintaining company confidentiality.  

Required Qualifications:

Proven practice of a high level of confidentiality and ethical behavior. Must have a minimum of two years of Human Resources experience or experience in a related field. Excellent verbal and written communication skills including excellent active listening skills. Must demonstrate the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and ethical behavior. Strong proficiency with a HRIS (ADP preferred) and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Aerospace/defense industry experience. Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state employment law. Analytical and research skills; ability to assess a situation, seek multiple perspectives and identify key issues. Flexible and adaptable; ability to manage multiple priorities. Must be a self-starter with strong time management skills. Organized and detail-orientedHR-related certification (e.g. PHR or SHRM-CP) preferred. 

Essential Job Functions:

Salary: $58,000 – $87,000

Salary: $70,160 – $105,240
