Job Summary

IFF Dubai Creation and Design Center is looking for an Associate Designer to join our dynamic team of product designers.

An Associate Designer works under guidance to develop skills and technical knowledge to become a professional beverage designer.

Main Responsibilities

Manages assigned projects with supervision from the team leader/manager.Develops an understanding of local customers, category market and consumer preferencesExecution of customer related and internal tasks in close collaboration with colleagues in the group and across organizationProduces product samples in accordance to the project brief,  with  close cooperation from Beverage Design team and Project owner.Seeking and developing new application solutions for the beverage industryProactively identify opportunities to align with trends and technologies within the regionDaily maintenance of equipment and ensuring compliance to GMP standards and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)Performs product evaluation, analysis and stability test.Contributing to maintaining a safe, efficient working environment

Key Requirements:

Relevant educational background (Bachelor or Master’s degree in food technology, Food Engineering or related life sciences degree)The role requires 2+ years’ experience in industrial food, ingredient or flavor industry.A positive attitude combined with curious and creative mindsetMust demonstrate proactive approach to learning and being receptive to feedbackStrong interpersonal skills, team player and the ability to learn quicklyAbility to efficiently organize and complete tasks on timeTechnical /report writing skill, ensuring accuracy of data shared to technical partners, commercial team and customers.Knowledge of basic beverage formulation, ingredient functionality,  processing, packaging, GMP, and regulatory related to beverage. Industry experience is an advantage.Strong presentation skillsGood level of MS Office knowledgeWilling to travel internationallyFluency in both spoken and written English, fluency in French is a plus
