We are looking to hire an Associate Engineer to join a team responsible for some of the largest electrical transmission line construction in the country. This role will be involved with assisting in the design and execution of various construction projects that are crucial to the robustness and reliability of our power infrastructure. You will participate in all project phases, from initial planning and feasibility studies to design and construction administration. This role provides a unique opportunity to apply your knowledge and skills on a smaller scale initially, with the potential to take on greater responsibility as you gain experience. Salary range: $60-80k per year Responsibilities Design Assistance: Review CAD designs and provide scale design changes for projects using fundamental knowledge and established methods. Plan Production: Perform basic plan production tasks and receive specific instructions for necessary tasks. Software Proficiency: Develop and apply your knowledge and skills in design and modeling software. Documentation Preparation: Assist with the preparation of project documentation and schedules and perform design calculations within a limited scope. Team Coordination: Coordinate with experienced engineers and designers on non-routine techniques and procedures. Research and Reporting: Gather research, recommend solutions, and create drafts of technical reports using prescribed methods. Qualifications Engineering degree from a four-year credited university in either Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or Construction Management Strong communication skills Ability to contribute and work well on a team. Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
