As an Associate Engineer at Ware Malcomb, you will assist the Project Engineer or Project Manager in designing commercial and residential land development projects. You will coordinate design efforts in each phase, including preliminary and final grading, utility layout, and construction services. You will use your technical skills to provide design calculations and perform project code research and analyses.
This position is ideal for an engineer in training seeking to gain exposure to all project stages while working under the guidance of experienced professionals.

Your RoleLead design on each phase of the project (typical; Preliminary Grading, Preliminary Utility Layout, Final Grading, Final Utility Plan and Profiles, Construction Documents and Construction Phase services) to deliver a set of contract documents that will be used for permits and construction. Provide AutoCAD support for the preparation of projects documents. Provide design calculations for drainage, utility, Stormwater management, reports, and analysis. Assist the Project Manager or Project Engineer with construction services (site visits, review shop drawings, etc.).Perform project code searches and analysis for each project.
