Manages a team that is responsible for supporting ATTs transformation, adoption and rationalization of technologies requiring extensive technical expertise in categories such as 3rd party/hybrid/on- premise cloud, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning SW, Radio Access Networks, Next Gen Business Support Systems, Automation, High end transformational SaaS and PaaS, disaggregated network solutions, data warehouse and analytics, and direct Chip Supplier relationships.

Key Roles and responsibilities:

-Plays a key role in defining the nature of the work that should be undertaken by the company. Develops overall objectives for assigned area of responsibility. Negotiates and administers contracts for technology products.

-Responsible for the guidance and direction of interdepartmental cross-functional technical sourcing teams who create and apply strategic sourcing concepts and strategies on a technical product family basis to the management of supplier relationships.

-Responsible for review and administration of long-term and or blanket purchase contracts.

-Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends. Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve results may add to the costs and or and have a high impact on the short- term goals of the organization. Manages subordinates in the completion of assigned activities with time, cost and technical objectives.

-Subordinates may be located in multiple geographic territories / international countries, requiring multi-cultural and multi -language skills. Influences decisions regarding the hiring, firing, disciplinary action, promotional activity, and pay decisions for subordinates.

-Responsible for the following areas for direct reports - career planning, performance evaluations, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Our Associate Director-Technical Sourcing, earns between $143,800.00-$215,800.00 USD Annual, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
