The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will play a key clinical role in the delivery of longitudinal, evidence-based primary care, working closely with an onsite primary care physician and a multidisciplinary team. The APP will have the opportunity to engage in the design and implementation of innovative worksite primary care services, aligning with the latest advances in primary care delivery models and corporate health strategies.

Hours:Full-time (40 hours/week) with a schedule designed to meet clinic and employee needs.Some flexibility for early morning or late-day coverage as required.This role includes occasional telephonic on-call support for evening and weekend medical operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Primary Care & Preventive HealthDeliver comprehensive primary care services, including preventive care exams, preventive health screenings, and risk assessments to optimize employee healthDiagnose, treat, and manage chronic conditions, using an evidence-based, longitudinal care approachAddress acute health concerns, such as respiratory infections, gastrointestinal issues, minor dermatologic conditions, headaches, and musculoskeletal complaintsProvide basic gynecologic care, including contraceptive counseling, menstrual and menopause health management, and routine pelvic/breast examsAdminister and counsel patients on routine and age-based vaccinationsEducate employees on health behaviors, self-care strategies, and disease prevention, helping them take an active role in their well-being

Care Coordination & Clinical ExcellenceEngage in evidence-based primary care medicine services while collaborating with the onsite physician for complex and high-risk casesServe as a trusted health resource for employees, ensuring continuity of care and facilitating connections to internal and external specialists as neededApply data-driven insights to support patient care planning, including reviewing annual labs, biometric data, and wearables to personalize interventions

Patient Advocacy & WellbeingParticipate in continuous quality improvement initiatives, finding opportunities to enhance care efficiency and patient experienceCollaborate with corporate well-being teams to integrate preventive health programs into broader employee wellness strategiesServe as a clinical advocate for health equity, ensuring that care is inclusive, culturally competent, and accessible to all employees

Operational & Administrative ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate, compliant, and confidential medical records in the electronic health record (EHR) systemEnsure adherence to privacy, ADA, OSHA, and other workplace health regulations as they pertain to primary care servicesProvide on-call support for evening and weekend operations as needed to maintain continuity of careOther duties within the scope of practice as assigned by the supervising physician

Qualifications:

RequiredGraduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) programMaster’s degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited universityActive certification as an Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner, Advanced Practice Nurse, or Physician AssistantMinimum of 5 years of clinical experience in primary care, internal medicine, family medicine, or direct primary care modelsCurrent, unrestricted Indiana license as an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) or Physician Assistant (PA), including active state-controlled substance registration (CSR) and DEA licensure with prescriptive authorityWillingness to obtain medical licensure in additional states as needed to support employees across multiple locationsQualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. PreferredClinical experience in primary care, internal medicine, ambulatory care, or emergency medicine.Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (or willingness to obtain)Strong knowledge of electronic health records (EHRs), data analytics, and health technology platformsAPP will follow the provided approved Lilly Policy and Procedures.APP will have on site only those approved medications as outlined in Lilly standing ordersExhibit a high level of customer service and client responsivenessAbility to work independently, with a strong emphasis on collaborative, patient-centered care

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location.  The anticipated wage for this position is

$122,250 - $179,300

Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
