Associate Director - HR Business Partner, Global Functions
Site Name: Bengaluru Luxor North Tower Posted Date: Feb 14 2025 JOB PURPOSE: The role will report to HR Director, Global Capability Centre India, to support HRBP activity flexibly across all Global Function Business units, as a trusted partner to our HRBLs & the business to drive business change, impact in talent, leadership, culture and capability. The role is agile with soft HRBL alignment and flexibility to support peaks in demand, projects or initiatives and will work with HRBPs & T1 teams of our hub locations to deliver business activities. This role provides an outstanding opportunity for a talented individual to support global function business areas as a trusted partner to drive business change, impact in talent, leadership, culture and capability. Key activities will include: HR Business Partnering: Partner with HRBL & the business to effectively execute the people plan, leveraging global, local context & a strong understanding of the Global Function business, GSK & HR activity to improve business performance. Whilst the HRBP will be soft aligned to the business area it is not expected that they will sit on business LTs. They are the key HRBP to take the people plan from the HRBL and execute this with the business with support where appropriate from the HRBPs that sit in the hubs. Coaching and Development: Coaching & develop (in most cases GLT-1) our most senior leaders of the relevant Global functions in HR activities, such as talent, data efficiency, restructures & capability to ensure leaders are accountable for employee experience and delivering against key moments that matter. All other managers should attain their HR services through People Services. Support Senior Leaders: Align HR strategic and operational activities with people priorities, supporting senior leaders, in most cases GLT-1 within the Global Function business on the relevant people aspects of work that needs to be delivered. Complex Query Resolution: Develop pragmatic solutions to complex, escalated queries by interpreting local legislation, HR policies, and processes. Talent Management: Support HRBLs with best-in-class talent management and succession planning to build a high-quality, diverse talent pipeline. Capability & Leadership: Support HRBLs to identify priority capability and leadership initiatives to drive capability in the business area. Data and Analytics: Utilize digital, data, and analytics tools to gain insights, inform people strategy execution, and drive leadership and organizational effectiveness. ER: Where appropriate, partner with ER & business to resolve & drive high risk issues and implement appropriate actions The HR Business Partner will also work contract support from other HRBPs in the wider team, when needed, in order to manage delivery for the business. Required qualifications & experience: Bachelor’s degree in HR or business and relevant global HR business partnering experience of 12+ years HR Partnering: Extensive Global HR Business Partnering experience, in particular partnering with the most senior stakeholders globally through organisational changes. Business Transformation: Experience of planning & delivering large scale, global, transformational, cultural and organizational change projects, based on a strong understanding of the global & UK consultation landscape and processes. Complex Organization Experience: Experience working in a highly complex organization within a matrixed structure, leveraging influence within a complex network of stakeholders. Strong Project management demonstrated experience of accountability to deliver projects across a range of HR activities against timelines to achieve required business outcomes Functional expertise: A good understanding of various HR processes (Recruitment, Performance Management, Talent Management, Labour Law compliance etc.) Influence and Standards: Experience in influencing OneHR to raise standards and continuously improve the collective profile of HR within the business. Data analytics: Experience of leveraging data to draw insights and recommend actions.
