Provide effective risk assessment, credit analysis, adjudication and monitoring of an Asset Backed Securities (ABS) portfolio

What will you do?

Credit officer for a portfolio of Traditional and Non-Traditional Asset Backed Securities (ABS) borrowersProvide effective risk assessment, credit analysis, adjudication and monitoring of assigned portfolioAssign ratings to ABS borrowers and continuously monitor portfolio for ratings accuracyEvaluates variables that affect credit risk; works and communicates with colleagues outside of own department concerning credit risk considerationsImplements quantitative analysis methods and related technology-based tools to analyze data in order to effectively monitor, measure, and manage credit risksAnalyzes business activities and credit risk of investments on the organization; ensures credit transactions are in compliance with credit risk management policies and procedures, limits, and guidelines

What do you need to succeed?

5+ years experience with Securitization or Structured ProductsPost-graduate degree in a quantitative area such as mathematics, finance, engineering preferredPrevious credit risk, market risk, or rating agency experience preferredProficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPointHigh level of self-motivation; able to manage conflicting prioritiesAble to work independently; able to work well in teams

The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $110,000 - $190,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs.  This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
