Associate Director, Project Management, Patient Support Services
The **Associate Director of Project Management** oversees the development and execution of **large-scale implementation projects for pharmaceutical clients** . This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. As a key player in the organization, the Associate Director **ensures successful project delivery and client satisfaction** while coaching and driving standardized project management practices. This role requires that the Associate Director has a keen understanding of **Pharmaceutical Patient Services programs such as Hub, Copay, Adherence, and In Home Clinical Solutions** and is able to communicate effectively and efficiently with client leadership teams. **Essential Functions & Responsibilities:** _Team Management/Leadership:_ + **Manages a staff** of project implementation managers, providing direction and guidance and developmental opportunities while ensuring consistent use of tools/processes across all **pharmaceutical client projects related to Patient Support Services** . + Supervise maintenance of project management information and data tracking systems. + Direct project activities for Project Implementation Manager(s) regarding their project-oriented tasks to ensure that project milestones are met. + **Partners with pharmaceutical clients** and the Director of Client Excellence to derive optimal value from IQVIA services, ensuring a seamless flow of client requirements through the delivery services process. + Provides in-depth training in IQVIA Project Management tools/processes as needed. + Partners with account management to price products. + Ensures team is creating PSA Projects upon initiation of resource engagement. + Assigns resources as needed for new/recurring projects. + Creates, maintains, and monitors the client service agreement across business lines, ensuring consistency in service. + Ensures that quality deliverables are presented on time and within budget; coordinates workstreams and cross-functional project teams while monitoring the use of consistent tools and methodologies; identifies and evaluates potential project risks and develops mitigation plans; and serves as the primary point of contact with the project sponsor. _Project Management:_ + Manage the scope of work, objectives, timelines, quality of deliverables, and other project management activities for projects or multi-project program(s) spanning across all **IQVIA Patient Support Services** and ensure **pharmaceutical client** needs are met. + Serves as **project leader between the pharmaceutical client and IQVIA** – translates client needs into action plans with the internal service team (i.e. determines responsibilities and timeframes and negotiates resources with internal departments). + **Performs full assessments of** **pharmaceutical client needs** on a regular basis. + Serve as primary project/escalation contact with internal and external customers to ensure appropriate communication channels are maintained and reporting schedules adhered to. + Review the project budget and scope of work, including management of project budget(s) to meet financial and company goals, proactively ensuring adherence to change control processes. + Evaluate impact of risks, develop, and implement quality and risk management plans for minimizing impact on project objectives and deliverables. **Requirements & Qualifications:** + **US Remote/home based** with approximately **15% travel required.** + **Bachelor's Degree Required.** + 7+ years related experience in **pharmaceutical service industry and project management required.** + Project management experience in overseeing or contributing in complex, multi-discipline projects. + **Management experience required.** Managerial skills, including a strong focus on team building. + **Pharmaceutical industry experience required.** + 1-2 years of experience using IQVIA data and products required. + Knowledge of **Pharmaceutical Patient Services** programs such as **Hub, Copay, Adherence, and In Home Clinical Solutions highly preferred.** + Proficient in **MS Office Suite, Smartsheet,** and other project management applications required. + Business acumen ( **knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry** , including the applications for IQVIA data). + Change management/process analysis skills. + Strong communication skills, including ability to train, present and deal tactfully with clients. + **Knowledge of IQVIA databases and report creation process.** + **PMP Certification Preferred** IQVIA is a leading global provider of clinical research services, commercial insights and healthcare intelligence to the life sciences and healthcare industries. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
