This role offers an outstanding opportunity to lead and manage a team dedicated to advancing software platforms that meet our company's ambitious goals. You will collaborate across departments to successfully implement solutions that differentiate Thermo Fisher’s offerings. By contributing to and leading governance processes, you will ensure resources are strictly used to deliver maximum value.
Lead strategies and tactics to fulfill business needs.
Develop and implement solutions, influencing internal and external partners.
Coordinate policies, processes, and procedures within the department.
Develop and maintain departmental vision and strategies, integrating new technologies.
Optimize system software improvements and build product roadmaps.
Support standards implementation through training and continual evaluation.
Respond to client or internal audits on systems or procedures.
Manage yearly budget requests and sponsor process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with at least 10+ years of relevant experience.
5+ years of management responsibilityELN or LIMS experience required.
Experience in managing scientific data (GMP or any lab work or pre-clinical work) is required.
Experience with managing large teams (someone that has led leaders) is required.
Software development management is preferred
Proven leadership skills and experience in management.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
Expertise in process development and improvement.
Comprehensive understanding of departmental processes and systems.
Ability to develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in clinical management technology and systems.
Understanding of clinical trials, regulatory guidelines, and directives.
Effective communication skills in English, both oral and written.
Capable of promoting teamwork in diverse settings.
Demonstrated project management skills.
Innovative critical thinking abilities.
