Associate Director, Internal Employee Events & Brand Advocacy

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location.  The anticipated wage for this position is

$122,250 - $179,300

We are seeking a visionary communications strategist to reimagine how we engage employees through transformative global events and innovative brand advocacy programs. This role is dedicated to crafting relevant, impactful global internal events that help colleagues connect with our purpose; and develop internal communications for our corporate sponsorships and partnerships, building brand advocates across the globe.

Key Responsibilities:

Reimagining Internal Global Event Experiences:

Partner with Internal Communications leadership to develop and execute a bold new vision for employee engagement through immersive, large-scale internal events, such as global town halls and milestone celebrations, including the company’s upcoming 150th anniversary.Ensure events are designed to communicate key corporate messages, reflect the company’s values, are inviting and create a strong inspirational connection with employees.Coordinate every detail of event planning and execution, from concept development to post-event evaluation, ensuring flawless delivery and maximum impact.

 Bringing the Brand, Sponsorships and Partnerships to Life Internally:

Collaborate with external communications and brand teams to translate company brand strategy, sponsorships and partnerships into engaging internal initiatives and experiences.Design campaigns and activations that showcase this work internally, helping employees understand their value and impact on Lilly's brand and mission.Use storytelling, creative content, and innovative communication channels to align employees with the external brand strategy.

Building a Brand Advocacy Ecosystem:Develop programs that empower employees to become enthusiastic brand ambassadors who embody and share Lilly's vision and culture.Partner with leaders across the company to ensure alignment and drive participation in advocacy programs.

  Innovating Internal Brand Engagement:Leverage creative communication strategies to deliver brand messages that resonate deeply with employees and reinforce their role in the company’s success.Craft content for internal platforms, including videos and digital displays, to engage employees with consistent and compelling storytelling.Stay ahead of trends in employee engagement and internal communications, ensuring Lilly remains a leader in this space.

Measurement:Define success metrics for internal events, brand advocacy programs, and sponsorship activations, and use data to assess and improve impact.Regularly seek employee feedback to ensure initiatives are relevant and aligned with their needs and expectations.

Basic Qualifications:7+ years of experience in internal communications, global event management, or brand communications in a high-profile corporate environment.
