Associate Director, Global Procurement - CDS&L

As a critical member of the Global Procurement team, you will lead all Procurement activities in support of the global Clinical Drug Supply & Logistics category. We are looking for an Associate Director Global Procurement to manage categories with a high degree of complexity, building meaningful supplier relationships and delivering high service level to the business.

A typical day might include:

Help define and implement the global category strategy to serve global and regional business needs.Work to lead discussions and aligns category priorities with Procurement management and partners.Manage negotiations, supplier management activities, and partner engagement activities for the category as assigned.Work with leadership to drive value in terms of cost savings, cash flow improvement, and other efficiency savings from category management activities.Represent Global Procurement by participating in organizational decisions in the CDS&L category with critical short and long-term impact on the success, efficiency, growth, and results of Global Procurement.Demonstrate knowledge of efficient global procurement organizations and processes within the biopharmaceutical industry. Support the growth and evolution of the Global Procurement organization and leverage this knowledge to drive improvements within Regeneron, aligned with corporate priorities.May either directly or through a matrix structure, manage team of professional level employees responsible for performing category management tasks (if applicable.)

This role might be for you if you have:

Built influential relationships with partners and suppliers for Regeneron.Success running cross-functional teams to get results in Clinical Trial categories or related categories through effective sourcing, negotiations, contracting, and supplier relationship management.Expert insight and knowledge regarding rates, unit costs, and costing structures to enable optimal negotiations.Used external data sources, market information, and supplier engagement to constantly improve Regeneron’s knowledge of supply market dynamics.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study plus relevant, progressive experience in procurement, including experience in Pharma/BioPharma. You will need experience successfully managing global category processes, and suppliers across a breadth of categories

Salary Range (annually)

$154,800.00 - $252,800.00
