Today, across RTX there are a variety of business processes and software platforms that support the flow of information from our customers to our factories to our suppliers and enable our ability to report and analyze our collective performance. In support of the future oneRTX initiative, the enterprise has begun a Process & Systems Transformation (PST) journey to optimize business processes, enable data strategy, and implement a common approach to our next generation ERP software - SAP/S4 HANA. **Exciting Opportunity!** The Process & Systems Transformation Management Office team is focused on setting up the framework and executing RTX ERP Transformation partnering with Corporate, Enterprise Services and the Business Units. This role will help support customer and financial performance through technological advancements, data insights and process optimization. This role is for an experienced Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) professional responsible for leading financial close processes, forecasts, operational activities, and headcount management. **The Associate Director will oversee the management of the PST program’s monthly actuals and forecasting, lead government audits, manage the bi-annual allocation process, and oversee time management activities for the PST program. This position plays a key role in driving continuous improvement in monthly reporting, ensuring the completeness, timeliness, and accuracy of actuals, forecasts, and other reporting requirements, as well as developing processes to track and monitor investments and expenditures against the plan.** **What You Will Do:** + Oversee the preparation and accuracy of financial reports, journal entries, and variance analysis, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. + Lead the analysis of capital investments, providing strategic guidance to ensure financial accuracy and alignment with long-term business goals. Determines policies, procedures, and controls are in place to protect company assets. + Direct financial analysis and research on budget details to inform executive decision-making and support strategic initiatives. + Manage the production of monthly forecasts and the development of sophisticated financial models, providing executive management with data-driven recommendations to optimize business performance. + Lead the analysis and management of headcount, time tracking, and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with financial reporting and modeling requirements. + Conducts or assists in the documentation of cost for government and project accounting, ensuring compliance with DCMA/DCAA audit requirements, and serving as the point of contact for audit-related inquiries. + Drive complex strategic projects, including the development of advanced analytical models to support high-level functional and operational strategies. + Develop and enhance financial information systems to streamline processes and ensure the timely and accurate delivery of financial data. + Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and ensure alignment with broader business objectives. + Lead and mentor the finance team, overseeing financial analysis, reporting, and ad-hoc projects, and fostering a high-performance culture. + Provide leadership on cross-functional initiatives and special projects as needed, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. + Travel requirements: approximately 10-20%. domestically **Qualifications You Must Have** : Minimum 12+ years’ experience leading in the finance, accounting or auditing arena and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related discipline or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree; Advanced degree and 10+ years’ related work experience. + Experience in FP&A and/or General Finance Associate Director in a highly matrixed organization. + Knowledge around management of the PST program’s monthly actuals and forecasting, lead government audits, bi-annual allocation process, and time management activities for the PST program + **U.S. citizenship** is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract. **Qualifications We Prefer:** + Experience around financial close processes, forecasts, operational activities, and headcount management + Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other analytical tools. + Ability to Travel 10-20% domestically **Learn More & Apply Now!** **Work Location:** Remote _Please consider the following role type definition as you apply for this role:_ **Remote:** This position is currently designated as remote. The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
