Associate Director, Enterprise Content & Initiatives
Description Summary: Huntington Bank is seeking an experienced associate communications director to drive strategic communications for high-profile content and initiatives as the company continues to expand and elevate its brand nationally. Reporting to the Director of Enterprise Communications, this new role will partner closely with executive leaders and internal and external communications teams to tell Huntington's story to various stakeholders. This role will be responsible for crafting messaging about the company's strategy, vision and initiatives for multiple channels, including executive communications, colleague communications as well as key company publications and events. A successful candidate will have demonstrated success leading communications campaigns and creating content for a wide variety of audiences. Duties & Responsibilities: + Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create and execute communications plans to amplify Huntington’s strategy, vision and key priorities. + Support content strategy and development for key reports such as the annual report, ensuring alignment with corporate messaging and branding guidelines. + Develop and implement internal communications strategies for high-profile enterprise initiatives. + Write and publish compelling content for various internal and external channels, including executive and colleague communications. + Identify and pursue opportunities for the company and its executives to be recognized through industry awards. + Performs other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree + 8 years of related experience in public relations or communications Preferred Qualifications: + Demonstrated success leading high-visibility communications campaigns within a large corporate workforce. + Strong writer with the ability to craft a wide variety of content, including executive communications. + Speechwriting experience. + Critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills. + Collaborative team member who can build strong partnerships across the organization. #LI-Hybrid #LI-NG1 Exempt Status: (Yes = not eligible for overtime pay) (No = eligible for overtime pay) Yes Workplace Type: Office Our Approach to Office Workplace Type Certain positions outside our branch network may be eligible for a flexible work arrangement.
