RBC Capital Markets is a leading global investment banking company dedicated to providing services in banking, finance, and capital markets to corporations, institutional investors, asset managers, and governments globally. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud Enablement Lead to drive the adoption, optimization, and governance of cloud technologies across our organization. As the Cloud Enablement Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our cloud strategy, enabling teams to leverage cloud platforms effectively, and ensuring seamless integration of cloud services into our business operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and manage cloud solutions that align with our business goals and technical requirements.

This role requires a strong technical background, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) as well as DevOps practices. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and a proven track record of enabling organizations to scale and thrive in the cloud.

What will you do?

Develop and execute a comprehensive cloud enablement strategy to drive adoption and optimization of cloud services.Act as a trusted advisor to internal teams, providing guidance on cloud best practices, architecture, and cost management.Identify opportunities to modernize legacy systems and migrate workloads to the cloud.  Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions.Collaborate with DevOps, engineering, and infrastructure teams to establish cloud governance frameworks and standards.Develop and deliver training programs, workshops, and documentation to upskill teams on cloud platforms and DevOps practices.Communicate cloud strategy, progress, and outcomes to senior leadership and stakeholders.In this role, you will communicate and interact frequently with RBC partners and/or employees located across Canada and/or worldwide.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field with 7+ years of experience in cloud computing, with at least 3 years in a leadership or enablement role.Proven expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).Strong understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).Familiarity with cloud security, compliance, and cost management best practices.

Nice-to-have:

Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.
