Reporting directly to the Dean of the School of Professional Studies, the incumbent serves as chief enrollment and student success officer for NYU SPS. This individual will lead strategic planning initiatives and teams related to admissions, enrollment, financial aid and student success and retention. Incumbent is responsible for the creation of a strategic, goal-oriented, and measurable enrollment plan to attract the appropriate number, quality, and mix of students, engaging with SPS academic leadership to achieve program-specific net tuition revenue and enrollment targets. The executive will oversee the student life cycle from recruitment through graduation, as well as future lifelong learning initiatives, the assessment of student success and will implement procedures to ensure accountability and sustainability. Oversee analysis of admissions and enrollment data and prepare presentations and recommendations to SPS and University leadership. Serve on the SPS Senior Leadership Team. Promote the SPS mission and vision within and outside of NYU and represent SPS on University-wide committees.

Qualifications

Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Education:
Master's Degree Master's degree in higher education, public health, administration/management or related field.

Required Experience:
10+ years 10 years' experience with university admissions and recruitment; financial aid, student success initiatives or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Proven leadership, networking and presentation skills. Effective strategic planning and communication skills. Extensive ability to work collaboratively using consensus building techniques. Ability to develop and implement recruitment, advising and retention strategies, ability to supervise staff and administer budgets. Knowledge of university and federal admissions and financial aid policies.

Additional Information

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $200,000.00 to USD $250,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
