Job Description

• Helps develop integrated business and/or enterprise application solutions in data analytical space to ensure specifications are flexible, scalable, and maintainable and meet architectural standards.

• With help from more senior engineers, develops software/data solutions for business requirements using a basic understanding of programming fundamentals.

• Ensures basic unit testing and functional testing coverage accounting for all boundary conditions according to the system integration test plan.

• Follows best source control and continuous integration/continuous deployment practices for efficient testing and deployment of code to different environments as defined for the team.

• Reviews technical documents, design, code, and demonstrations to learn from more senior engineers and stay aligned in team approach.

• Analyzes and organizes data to help deliver insights requested by the business.

• Helps develop, maintain, and enhance operational, analytical (including self-serve) applications across various business domains; delivers reports on-premises and cloud infrastructure; uses frameworks and reusable components whenever possible.

• Troubleshoots system issues, helps in root cause analysis, and ensures conformance of the technology solutions with IT governance and regulatory frameworks.

• Helps implement infrastructure-related projects for the organization.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Completion of coursework or program focused on software development or related skills (e.g., technology related college coursework, bootcamp, certification program, coding academy)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, or related field

• 1 year of experience in software development or a related field

• 1 year of experience in object-oriented programming/structure programming, structured query language, and scripting

• 1 year of experience in big data technology

• 1 year of experience in Cloud big data technologies
