Associate Civil Drainage  Engineer –  Transportation Infrastructure  

Opportunity :


  Our Parsons Seattle office  has an exciting new opportunity for an Associate Civil Drainage Engineer to work with design engineering of culverts and drainage systems for public works transportation projects in the State of Washington. In this role you will get to work alongside our drainage team on a wide variety of exciting projects, including highway design, light rail planning and design, fish passage improvements and site developments.

 The Civil  Engineer at this level is in a developmental mode, being trained under close supervision in the utilization of engineering theories and practices, and gaining exposure to Company procedures. This role is open to new or recent graduates of a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree program in Civil Engineering. We offer hybrid remote working ( meaning allowed to work from home at least 2 days per week).


Responsibilities :

Will utilize Microstation CAD software to design drainage and culvert systems for road, highway, and other transportation projects in Washington State.  

       This role will support design engineering of the following :
      

Stormwater quality BMP designPlan development and draftingSupporting fish passage improvement designConveyance System DesignStormwater runoff delineation and modeling



 

Requirements :

4-year degree in Civil  Engineering (or related field) and 0-3  years of related work experience with drainage systems design.

Prior internships in the field are a plus.

(EIT)  is highly desirable.

Salary Range: 

$25.34 - $44.33
