You’ll manage and support assigned categories and brands, developing and executing strategic initiatives, and collaborating cross-functionally to achieve business goals. This role will involve working closely with Sales, Trade Marketing, Business Intelligence, Operations, Finance, Compliance, and external agencies to ensure seamless execution and growth. You will also be responsible for driving continuous improvement within your team.

 

Essential Responsibilities and Impact:

 

Strategic Planning & Execution:Develop and implement strategies, activation plans, and budgets for assigned categories/brands.Lead the execution of marketing initiatives, including pricing strategy and channel management, to meet sales and profit targets.Continuously identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, save costs, and add value to the company.Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with Sales, Trade Marketing, Business Intelligence, Operations, and Finance to ensure cohesive execution of business objectives.Collaborate with Compliance, agencies, and trade partners to align on business and strategic objectives.Leadership & Development:Utilize the PDS (Performance Development System) to identify areas for self-improvement and dedicate time to skill development.Conduct regular performance discussions with direct reports, provide feedback, and recommend actions to support their growth.New Business Development (NBD):Lead and support the development, planning, and execution of NBD initiatives for assigned categories/brands.Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget by navigating internal processes and cross-functional teams.Data-Driven Decision Making:Use Cognos, VIP, and BI tools to measure, track, and analyze progress against key performance indicators (KPIs) and business objectives.Provide actionable insights to optimize category/brand performance.Agency & Creative Management:Oversee and manage external agency efforts in delivering creative solutions for packaging, promotions, public relations, media, and marketing materials.Ensure that all deliverables align with brand strategy and drive business growth.Prioritization & Project Management:Establish clear priorities for projects and ensure that team members are aligned with their roles and responsibilities.Monitor project progress and use the PPT system to provide updates and track against key milestones.Brand Planning & Special Projects:Support the development of strategic brand plans and lead special projects for assigned categories/brands.Work to align these plans with the company’s long-term business strategy and goals.

Qualifications/Requirements

To be successful in the role, you’ll need the following requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.2+ years of relevant brand marketing experience.business experience.Strong communication skills: Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.Willingness to travel as required for the role.Technical proficiency: Strong computer skills and a high comfort level with using technology and systems.Quick learner: Ability to quickly adapt to new systems and processes.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Multitasking abilities: Capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.Implementation or project management experience.Experience in budgeting, planning, and/or financial analysis.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.PREFERREDMBAUndergraduate degree in Business, Marketing or CommunicationsExperience with three tier distribution systemExperience in New Business DevelopmentExperience managing an Advertising AgencyPhysical A valid driver's licenseAbility to work remoteAbility to pay attention to detail

Compensation: Placement within the salary range is calculated based on years of directly relatable experience for the position. The salary range refers to base salary only and does not include car allowance, annual bonus, fuel, or cell phone reimbursement.
