Position Summary

Responsible for designing, developing and maintaining reports and dashboards using Tableau. This role requires a deep understanding of data visualization best practices and the ability to communicate insights effectively to various stakeholders. The role requires collaboration with business teams to gather requirements, analyzing data and translating business needs into actionable insights.

Job Responsibilities

- Dashboard Development: Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau to visualize complex data and provide insights.
- Data Analysis: Work with large datasets to analyze, transform and interpret data to help business leaders make informed decisions.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with business teams and end-users to gather requirements and ensure dashboards meet their needs.
- Data Connectivity: Connect to various data sources (databases, cloud-based data lakes, Excel, etc.) to extract, transform and load data into Tableau.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize Tableau dashboards for performance and ensure a smooth user experience across different devices.
- Automation and Integration: Automate regular reporting processes and integrate Tableau with other business intelligence tools and platforms.
- Data Governance: Ensure data accuracy, consistency and governance in Tableau reports and dashboards by following best practices.
- Training & Support: Provide training and support to business users on how to use Tableau dashboards and interpret data insights.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest features and advancements in Tableau and suggest improvements for dashboard functionality.
- Task Management: Basic level of project management knowledge and experience. Should be able to plan tasks, discuss and work on priorities.
- Communication: Able to convey ideas and information clearly and accurately to self or others whether in writing or verbal.

Education BE/B.TechMaster of Computer ApplicationWork Experience

- Minimum of 0-5 years of relevant experience in Pharma domain.
- Certification in Tableau (Tableau Desktop Specialist, Tableau Desktop Certified Associate) is preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience working with Tableau as a primary tool for data visualization and reporting.
- Experience working with data from multiple sources such as databases (Snowflake, SQL oracle, Redshift), cloud platforms and Excel.
- Experience in working with large datasets and managing data preparation workflows.
- Proven track record of delivering interactive and visually compelling dashboards that provide business value.
