Job DescriptionPosition overview:
As part of the Electrical, Instrumentation Controls (EI&C) Engineering team, you will work collaboratively with a cross-functional engineering team executing custom project designs, meeting customer expectations, quality, schedule, budget, goals, and ensuring project risks are mitigated.
The individual chosen for this role will be involved in the Process Control Design, Programming and related EI&C activities for a wide range of water technologies, including developing control documentation, programming, supporting network design, and assisting through commissioning as projects move through execution. The individual will also be responsible for supporting on-site testing of water treatment systems at our Ancaster and Guelph facilities as required.

Minimum requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Mechanical, Chemical or Process Engineering (or equivalent)At least four (4) years of experience with control systems of Rockwell Schneider and/or Siemens PLC, HMI, DCS and/or SCADA design and programming.Automation testing experience (simulation and/or field environment): I/O modules, PID controllers, VFDs configuration and Network communications: EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP, Modbus RTU.Strong oral and written communications skills, provide reports and support internal and external customers.Valid passport and driver’s license.Availability to travel up to 30% per year (USA & Canada). For customer meetings, training, and equipment startup supportDemonstrated ability to work independently and remotely with project teams
