Key Responsibilities:

The Global Procurement organization at United Airlines is responsible for procuring goods and services and developing/ managing relationships with third-party providers with the objective of reducing total cost and risk to the company while improving levels of quality, service, and technology.

The Global Procurement—Associate Analyst will work with key stakeholders to properly manage transactional activities that occur after signing a strategic sourcing contract and small-value purchases requested by businesses. This role will support leveraging procurement data in developing automation, dashboards, and optimizing purchasing activities to achieve efficiency gains.

Leverage technology and analytical tools to collect and analyze procurement data to support tactical decision-making and long-term cost savingsSupport the development of purchasing function metrics and the development of ongoing Buyer performance reportingAssist in the analysis, evaluation, and optimization of purchasing methods and procedures, and support purchasing process automation initiatives for efficiency gainsWhile updating established record repositories, actively look for improvements in record keeping and reporting capability.Leverage relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders while managing invoice exceptions and resolving issues timelyEscalate concerns to Purchasing leaders as neededSupport the processing of purchase orders accurately and efficiently in compliance with company policies and supplier agreementsQualificationsWhat's needed to Succeed (Minimum Qualifications):Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business AdministrationProficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, and Power PointUnderstanding of the operational process of procure to payStrong oral and written communication skills Ability to understand and follow procurement procedures, adapting to new policies and changes Understanding of e-procurement technology and processesFinancial and business process understandingDetail orientedInterpersonal relationship building skillsMust be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorshipSuccessful completion of interview required to meet job qualificationReliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the positionWhat will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):1-2 years of Procurement experience, Soursing, Supply Chain, Analytics, and/or educational experienceBasic knowledge of strategic sourcing, contract terms, contingent labor, and/or labor servicesExperience with Coupa or other Procurement/Spend Management platforms

The base pay range for this role is $52,725.00 to $71,830.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
