Key Responsibilities:This position will manage warranty claims for the capture of all available contractual warranty remedies and non-contractual business consideration remedies.Utilize understanding of departmental contracts and GSE/Facilities product support and assurance agreements to develop, pursue and manage the following categories of parts, labor and service provider recovery claims related to removal and replacement of repairable parts and equipmentDevelop warranty tracking analytics and supplier management best practices to inform vendor/unit selection, equipment lifecycle costing and procurement negotiationsAssist with equipment procurement, contract development/support, Coupa/systems management, vendor audits, and Accounts Payable vendor setups to meet needs of GSE and Facilities groupCapture and compile data from GSE/Facilities information systems (Fleet Focus, etc.) to prepare and compile claimsConsult on warranty issues and coordinate the communication needs and activities with suppliers and key departmental stakeholdersThere’s never been a more exciting time to join United Airlines.
