The Associate Account Manager role requires an individual who is professional and courteous, and who displays drive, determination, pro-activity, and self-motivation.  With a positive attitude, the Associate AM will provide support to Account Executives and Account Managers.  The individual in this position is expected to be pursuing a career in insurance and the position of Account Manager.

Associate Account Manager

The Associate Account Manager role requires an individual who is professional and courteous, and who displays drive, determination, pro-activity, and self-motivation.  With a positive attitude, the Associate AM will provide support to Account Executives and Account Managers.  The individual in this position is expected to be pursuing a career in insurance and the position of Account Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the Account Executives and Account Managers will include but is not limited to:

Proposal Creation

Policy Review

Online rating through Carrier platforms

Certificate of Insurance (review and issue)

Review holder contracts

Data Entry

Process MVRs as per established Agency guidelines

Process endorsements

Documentation Pull (Loss Runs, Policy Information, Endorsements, etc.)

Adhere to all Agency systems, procedures, and state regulations

Assume other job responsibilities as requested by supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS

High School diploma or equivalent; AA and/or college degree preferred

1-year experience in insurance company or agency preferred

Property and Casualty Insurance License preferred; or willing to obtain within 30 days of employment.

Demonstrated proficiency with computer systems, including but not limited to MS Office and Applied Epic CRM

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Ability to work in a positive team environment and collaborative culture

Ability to take direction and follow instructions effectively, while demonstrating initiative and attention to detail

Ability to work in a face paced, rapidly changing environment with flexibility, efficiency and organization

Broad knowledge of insurance products and usages and ability to work independently

Provides essential support to ensure seamless operations when team members are out of the office due to vacation, sick leave, or other absences

Hybrid work schedule; must be in office minimum of three days weekly.

Department Account Management & Service

Required Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience

Required Travel: No Travel Required

Required Education: High school or equivalent
