Job Duties: Associate, Business Unit COO with Goldman Sachs Bank USA in New York, New York. Managing deposit strategies, transaction banking (TxB) balance sheet, business planning. Managing all deposit products, including demand deposit accounts and term deposits using quantitative financial and business data, ensuring TxB’s deposits are appropriately priced, as well as creating metrics and reports to track the progress of key deposit building initiatives. Designing, coordinating, and testing new features for new deposit products, liaising with Liquidity Risk on the appropriate risk capture of TxB deposits, liaising with Corporate Treasury on all aspects of funds transfer pricing for TxB deposits. Analyzing TxB deposit balance, rate paid and net interest margin, and driving and delivering senior management reporting. Liaising with Tax on withholding tax considerations for TxB deposits. Coordinating and managing currency limits and deposit balance by legal entity.

Job Requirements: Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or in a related role OR Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior experience must include one (1) year of experience with Master’s degree or three (3) years of experience with Bachelor’s degree with the following: collecting and decomposing market or risk data and developing risk sensitivity analysis and top sheet/scenario measures; performing funding planning and balance sheet management; applying Liquidity Risk and associated frameworks including Liquidity Coverage Ratio and Net Stable funding Ratio; working with foreign exchange and cross currency market and performing analytics based on market dynamics; and building financial models using statistics.

Salary Range: Annual base salary for this New York, New York-based position is $127,000/year - $128,000/year.
