Warehouse Associate

POSITION OVERVIEW As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a vital role in our warehouse operations. Your responsibilities include a variety of tasks such as shipping, receiving, stocking, order pulling, material handling, and loading/unloading trucks. You will ensure tasks are completed efficiently and in adherence to OSHA regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform shipping, receiving, stocking, order pulling, material handling, loading, and unloading of trucks. Safely operate material handling and dock equipment, such as pallet jacks. Accurately complete and process all paperwork. Utilize non-powered material handling equipment as needed (training provided). Efficiently execute tasks assigned by the warehouse supervisor or team lead. Maintain a clean and organized work area, always adhering to safety procedures. Learn and perform various warehouse functions. Meet productivity and quality standards set by the manager. Work rapidly to meet deadlines. Take on additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Warehouse experience is a plus, but not required. Adequate reading and math skills, with the ability to write legibly. Physically capable of performing tasks that involve walking, standing, bending, and reaching for extended periods, and lifting between 50 to 100 pounds.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Ability to listen to directions, manage time effectively, and complete tasks within established timelines. Team player with strong interpersonal skills.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Warehouse environment with adequate lighting and ventilation. Physical effort required to lift tool cases and equipment weighing between 50 to 100 pounds, and to move objects on wheels that may weigh up to 700 pounds. Frequent stooping, bending, squatting, and kneeling to service equipment at floor level.
