Associate, Social Media Insights & Analytics - Corporate Communications
**About this role** BlackRock is seeking an Associate for Social Media Insights & Analytics to join the Social Media team within Global Corporate Communications. The candidate will manage BlackRock’s social media monitoring and reporting capabilities to support programs that build our brand and enhance our reputation. This role involves providing regular and real-time reports and insights to senior stakeholders, using these insights to strategize content development. Additionally, the individual will focus on identifying new opportunities and voices to help tell the BlackRock story on social media and elevate our brand in line with the firm’s commercial priorities. A successful candidate will have a data-driven and analytical mindset and thrive in a high-stakes, fast-paced environment. **Responsibilities** + Monitor social media daily, identifying and escalating notable mentions, and reporting on reputational issues, crisis management, and rapid response in a timely manner + Create and refine social listening queries to generate reports on social media conversations and the performance of owned content + Provide real-time updates and alerts to stakeholders on emerging trends and potential risks + Collaborate with team leads to formulate recommendations on when, where, and how to engage in online conversations based on monitoring insights + Identify opportunities to develop and share proactive social media content based on monitoring insights + Partner with Corporate Communications to integrate BlackRock’s digital community and voices into comprehensive communications strategies + Work closely with the Legal & Compliance team to ensure practices adhere to regulatory requirements **Candidate Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree required + 2-3 years of experience in social media monitoring and reporting, data and analytics, research and consumer insights, social and/or digital marketing + Excellent written and verbal communication skills + Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills + Experience using social management tools (e.g., Sprinklr, Brandwatch, Hootsuite) to build listening queries and create monitoring reports + Agency experience is a plus + Financial services experience is a plus **About BlackRock Corporate Communications** An important part of BlackRock’s Corporate Affairs function, the global Corporate Communications team leads internal and external communications efforts that advance our purpose of helping more and more people experience financial well-being. For New York, NY Only the salary range for this position is USD$100,000.00 - USD$130,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits.
