Associate, Front-End Engineer
Edelman DXI is seeking an Associate, Front-End Engineer to support the end-to-end development lifecycle for web applications, mainly predictive analytics dashboards. This role will work with the predictive analytics business to build applications that use a range of data science techniques to identify insights for our clients and inform decision-making.Responsibilities:Work across the full stack, building scalable, client-facing web applications that enable positive user experiences and measurable business growthDevelop new features and infrastructure in support of rapidly emerging business and project requirementsDevelop primarily in Angular, NodeJS, and ReactSelf-manage to consistently deliver against timelinesCollaborate across time zones via Teams, GitHub comments, documents, and frequent video conferencesModify and test changes to previously developed programsRequired Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or engineering (or equivalent experience)At least three years of experience in building web applicationsExperience in designing and integrating RESTful APIsKnowledge of Angular, React, NodeJS, and PythonKnowledge of CSS frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Tailwind)Knowledge of interactive charting libraries (e.g., amCharts, Highcharts, ChartJS) Knowledge of various AWS services including, but not limited to, S3, Cloudfront, Lambda, Dynamo, and RDS. Knowledge of wireframing tools such as Figma and SketchExcellent debugging and optimization skillsExperience in unit/integration testingInterest in learning new tools, languages, workflows, and philosophies$56,000 - $84,000 a yearAn employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs.
