L3Harris IMS1 is seeking an experienced Senior Associate, finance analyst who will be responsible for discretionary project management, budget tracking and forecasting. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who collaborates cross-functionally with a variety of individuals across the organization. Must be able to effectively interface with senior levels of management. The ideal candidate has a passion and ability to focus on the important business details driving key financial results while continually assessing reasonableness, understanding why something changes, and determining how to achieve desired business results.

Essential Functions:
Finance Business Partner to BD, Engineering and Operations to support all financial functions associated with project management and project execution of discretionary projects (IR&D, B&P, Direct Sell, Capital)Responsible for maintenance of charge codes across all discretionary projects, including opening and closing charge codes (upon proper review) and publishing charge code data to functional groupsResponsible for maintaining project level budget data and publishing actuals/forecast on a weekly and monthly basis to various stakeholdersPartner with functional groups to build & maintain financial forecasts for monthly forecast reporting (MFR), strategic plan and Annual Operating PlanBuild and maintain financial forecasts (monthly/quarterly) and budgets. Work with large data sets. Produce variance analysis ensuring data accuracy and on time delivery.Identify risks and opportunities to forecast to ensure overall budget management as well as project level budget management;Financial reporting process improvement projects;Special projects and financial analysis as needed;Reporting & tracking weekly/monthly labor metrics (DLU, OT, etc); collaborate with functional leaders to addressQualifications:
