Technical Operations/Maintenance

Technical Operations includes the maintenance, and overhaul of our aircraft. This includes aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities teams, supply chain teams and more. 

Job overview and responsibilities

Associate analyst will work to enable better decision making across GX-FX. The work will involve working on huge volumes of data coming from the GX-FX team's various systems (e.g. Fleet Focus, telemetry devices, Coupa, PlanPlus, Oracle ERP, etc.) and use this information to drive decision making. Will be responsible for working on analysis projects with deliverables for various stakeholders across organization

Extract data from a variety of sources to assist in building operational dashboards and reportsCurate tables and views that serve as the \"single source of truth\" for United's Tech Ops dataAutomate existing manual reports and processes to improve operational throughput Performs ad-hoc data mining and analysis as required

Qualifications

Required 

Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant work experience in Engineering, business analytics, finance, supply chain0 – 2 years related experienceDeep understanding of data structures, relationships, and efficient transformationsFamiliarity with all parts of the data ecosystem -- acquisition, engineering, storage, management, analysis, visualization, and deploymentKnowledge and application of data visualization best practicesMust be legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorshipMust be fluent in English (written and spoken)Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualificationReliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

Preferred

Master's degree in mechanical engineeringAirline experience or knowledge of airline operations/fleet management preferred
