Systems engineering is a cross-functional engineering discipline centered on an approach, mindset, and process. Specifically for this case, Equipment Engineering is part of the solution scope for the flexible pipe business and deals with the development of ancillary equipment necessary for logistics, installation, and operation of the system. The activities consider both the business and the technical needs of the customers with the goal of providing a quality product that meets the user’s needs. The discipline that executes a robust process of design, creation, and optimization of systems, consisting of identification and quantification of system requirements, creation of alternate system design concepts, performance of design trade studies, selection and implementation of the best designs and verification that the design is properly integrated and executed.

As an Assistant Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Facilitating and check the design and layout of all components and systems like end fitting/ancillaries that compose the flexible pipe systems;Requiring understanding of a concepts, methods, and procedures;Expecting to resolve problems through the application of acquired expertise guided by precedent;Working together with people from the business unit. Contacts are under guidance and/or geared towards specifying activities, planning of activities, and giving explanations on technical issues;Communicating with team and supervisor. Presenting to internal teams on metrics, project status and research;Elaborate technical proposal

To be successful in this role you will:

Naval Engineering bachelor’s degree ON GOINGIntermediate EnglishHave experience with flexible line equipment projects Experience with AutoCAD, Solidworks, MathCAD and ExcelHave effective problem identification and solution skillsHave proven analytical and organizational ability
