The role holder would be accountable for developing and deliver a commercial strategy for India Facultative business, together with the Head of Facultative in order to achieve new business targets in terms of revenues and pipeline. This position requires gaining a deep understanding of WTW value proposition, including our Risks & Analytics, Global Line of Business (GLoB) Structure and other WTW added values that we may deliver to our clients.
Also, for the purpose of this role is to create pipeline and seizing new opportunities/prospects that can become a WTW facultative client, assisting broking teams to feel commercially supported on the consecution of new opportunities, either on individual accounts or on books of business that are of the interest of the facultative reinsurance markets within India.
Key Responsibilities
To develop strategies, together with the Head of Facultative, Head of P&C and Heads of Broking, to create new business opportunities Analyzing current program placement and developing new alternatives in terms of coverages, different limits, wordings etc. Deploying our Risks & Analytics tools to bring value to the final client and suggesting alternatives in the T&C to be submitted to the market. Work closely with Global / Regional Teams on Indian opportunities and facilitate market intelligence & full submission around the opportunity. Monitoring budget and forecasting accordingly through the use of CRM Dynamics Managing new-business pipeline throughout the use of our CRM Dynamics. Engaging the broking team to work through CRM Dynamics for the purpose of joint account planning To visit periodically Insurance Companies, Reinsurers, clients, prospects, retail offices and/or third party producers in territory. To get involved in the Reinsurance quoting and placement processes, when needed, being always coordinated and supervised by the Heads of Facultative.The Requirements
University Degree8+ years minimum experience in the Insurance or Reinsurance industry or related activity (risk management, reinsurance area of an insurance company, etc.)Technical knowledge on terrorism, property, construction, large scale engineering projects will be preferred.Deep understanding of any one product segment (above) as an underwriter or specialized broker will be added advantage.Experience in handling a portfolio.Fluent in English, with strong presentation skillsHigh level of self-administration skills.Ascertainable good level of basic software (Windows office, outlook, powerpoint) Results oriented.Equal Opportunity Employer
