The primary goal is the delivery of quality, compassionate, culturally competent, cost-effective and efficient care to individuals, families and communities served. The Assistant Vice President collaborates with the Care Management Team to ensure the goal in formulating, implementing and evaluating services in the Medical Center and community. Qualifications: Required: + Master degree required. + Minimum of four years of hospital administrative experience. Preferred: Certifications and Licenses Required (if applicable): + N/A Scheduling Requirements (non-exempt positions): + Day + Full-Time + 35 Hour Work Week Essential Functions: + Implementation of Service Line strategic initiatives and assumes direct local responsibility for the management of the CHoNJ service line operational areas including the Ambulatory practices, inpatient physician relationships as well as procedural areas. + Provides appropriate regular reporting to the Executive Management Team on service line performance. + Plans, organizes, directs, and evaluates the work of the service lines in support of achieving strategic goals. + Works closely with Chair of Pediatrics to provide an optimal environment for physicians and staff. + Proactively develops a collaborative relationship in order to create a culture that is highly productive. Enhances referral opportunities by evaluating current and future sources while eliminating barriers to success and other inhibitors to maximizing this aspect of the service line. + Works with clinical leaders assigned at the facilities to assure quality and cost-effective outcomes of services rendered.
