Assistant Vice President, Sales Global Business Development

Summary

DBRS Morningstar is seeking an Assistant Vice President, Sales within the Global Business Development team to further develop our U.S. structured credit and leveraged loan rating business.  A measure of success for this role will be the expansion of relationships with asset managers, intermediaries, and lenders, ultimately increasing market demand for DBRS Morningstar ratings.  The ideal candidate will have an understanding of structured credit markets, ranging from leveraged loans to CLOs and fund debt issuance.  This role reports to the Senior Vice President of Business Development for U.S. Structured Credit and is based in our New York office.

Understanding of U.S. structured finance marketsStrong relationships with market participants in structured creditDisciplined approach to achieving goalsExperience with Salesforce and Bloomberg terminal

Responsibilities

Expand coverage of structured credit sectors by meeting annual goals for growthTrack key metrics and communicate results as appropriate to senior executivesIdentify opportunities for new product developmentWork across internal groups including finance, marketing and customer services as necessaryCoordinate with marketing team on promotion of DBRS Morningstar at industry conferences

Base Salary Range: $100,000 to $120,000

Bonus Target Percentage: 20% of base salary
