POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Superintendent of Schools, the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources shall assume responsibility for the planning, development, coordination, and management of Human Resources operations and activities for certificated and classified personnel including employee relations, safety, benefits, credentialing, record-keeping, recruitment and staff selection, classification, compensation and payroll, and performance management. The Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources is also responsible for assuring efficient department operations, supporting and developing assigned staff professionally in the area of Human Resources and related areas.
