The department of Women’s Soccer at Morehead State University is accepting applications for a full-time position as an Assistant Soccer Coach. The anticipated start date is February 17, 2025.

RESPONSIBILITIES: The primary responsibility of the Assistant Soccer Coach is to instruct student athletes in the performance of the sport of soccer. To that end, under the supervision of the Head Soccer Coach, they will perform coaching duties pertinent to the position. Assists with other duties including, but not limited to, recruiting student-athletes, academic progress of student-athletes, planning practices, necessary public relations work, and providing leadership in fundraising.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree and coaching experience. Equivalent experience may be substituted for coaching experience. Working knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations. Knowledge of NCAA rules and compliance issues concerning the administration of intercollegiate athletics.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree. Experience in coaching youth. Excellent communications and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to recruit student-athletes with potential of academic and athletic success.
