Job Description

Join Oaks Wellington Hotel as our new full-time Assistant Restaurant Manager. This is your opportunity to supervise the day to day operation of a successful Restaurant and Food & Beverage department. 

As the Assistant Restaurant Manager you will: 

Ensure smooth and efficient daily floor operations of the restaurant, bistro and conferences.Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the company's food and beverage features to promote to clients.Liaise with the kitchen during service periods to ensure quality service and presentation.Supervise, train and assist Food & Beverage Attendants

 

Expected hours: 40 hours per week

Location: 89 Courtenay Place, Te Aro, Wellington 6011, New Zealand

Annual salary range: $29.66-$30

QualificationsMinimum 3 years supervisory experience gained in a similar rolePrevious experience working within formal dining and a bar environment A current RSA certificateExcellent written and verbal communication skills.Exceptional customer service skills and an unwavering positive attitude.A high level of self-motivation and confidenceAvailability to work a variety of shifts including breakfast, lunch and dinner shifts on a rotating roster.
