Assistant Residence Director

Under the direction and supervision of the Residence Director, the Assistant Residence Director position is responsible for assisting with the oversight of the day-to-day operations of the assigned residence. The Assistant Residence Director position is one that provides on-the-job training to professionals seeking a future operations management role with Seven Hills Foundation. This role may train or supervise direct support employees and works closely with a multidisciplinary team to implement individualized care plans that align with each person's goals and needs. The people we support participate in the hiring, training, and evaluation of employees who work with them. The agency and its employees are responsible to the people we support.

Generous Accrued Paid Vacation: 3 weeks in your first year!Vacation Cash-Out Option3 Paid Personal Days11 Paid Holidays Accrued Paid Sick Time Responsibilities Support the Residence Director in overseeing daily operations of the residential programPromote dignity, independence, and inclusion for individuals in all aspects of home and community lifeAssist individuals with skill-building, personal care, household tasks, and community engagementMaintain positive relationships with individuals’ families, guardians, and external partnersLead and support staff through training, coaching, and role modeling; provide supervision when neededEnsure accurate implementation of Individual Support Plans (ISPs), behavior support plans, and therapeutic care plansCollect, review, and document individual progress and program data in accordance with DDS standardsMaintain a clean, safe, and respectful home environment, address safety concerns promptlyAdminister medications and coordinate healthcare appointments as neededManage individual budgets, assist with financial planning, and maintain proper documentation of expensesParticipate in on-call rotation and respond effectively to emergencies or crisesAttend ISP meetings, staff meetings, and supervision; contribute to performance evaluations and team developmentUphold confidentiality, professional ethics, and agency policies at all timesComplete and maintain required certifications and trainingsPerform additional duties as assigned by the Residence Director or leadership QualificationsEducation & Experience:
High school graduate or General Educational Development (GED) with relevant experience; college experience or enrollment preferred. Commitment to assisting people with developmental disabilities to participate fully in the life of their community.Prior direct care experience preferred. Prior supervisory experience preferred. Skills and Knowledge:Valid Driver’s License & Good Driving RecordMAP certification preferred CPR/First Aid requiredCommitment to assisting people with developmental disabilities to participate fully in the life of their community. Safe passenger vehicle and good driving record, adequate insurance, driver’s license required.
