This key role supports the university's academic mission by managing BC student registration and cross-registration processes, overseeing program enrollment changes, and providing critical data reports to university stakeholders. The Assistant Registrar serves as a vital liaison between Boston College and partner institutions, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of student records while upholding regulatory and institutional guidelines. Registration, Cross-Registration Management and Grading: Coordinate the admission, registration, and grading processes for Boston College students enrolled in Consortium and Boston Theological Institute (BTI) courses, as well as external students taking Boston College courses. Act as the primary liaison with Consortium schools and the BTI, ensuring accurate student registration and representation at meetings. Generate and analyze cross-registration statistics and reports as needed. Program Enrollment Oversight: Manage program enrollment changes, including leaves of absence, withdrawals, and study abroad. Monitor inactive students in collaboration with schools and provide data to associate deans for the Failure to Register process. Proactively review student records to ensure program enrollment accuracy in compliance with university policies and regulatory requirements. Data Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular and ad hoc reports to associate deans, including: Academic Review Reports (Fall/Spring). Low-Credit Enrollment Reports (Fall/Spring). Open Seat Reports: Assist in identifying trends and issues within the provided data to support academic planning and decision-making.
