The role
As a Assistant Project Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will work on a portfolio of medium and high complexity projects and work packages across a number of engineering contracts and disciplines within our ISTAR and Cyber division.
Day-to-day, you’ll be involved in end-to-end delivery throughout the project lifecycle.
Working as a key member of the Prime Contract Office (PCO) which provides end-to-end delivery of all contract tasking and projects. Supporting with requirements capture, scoping, technical and commercial solutions and the generation of pricing models, gate review and proposal documentation. Risk management. Change management. Defining acceptance criteria for contracted deliverables and production of professional handover documentation.
This role is full time, 37 hours per week and is based on site at Tewkesbury.
Agile working may be available to employees in some instances, applying the principles of fairness and consistency whilst ensuring that the overriding business needs can be appropriately met. Essential experience of the Assistant Project Manager
Project Management experience. Understanding of project lifecycle. Bid and proposal writing experience strongly desirable. Engineering or defence experience is preferred.
Qualifications for the Assistant Project Manager
Batchelor’s degree or equivalent
