Assistant Project Manager
Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager (APM) with at least 2 years of experience in civil construction. This individual will work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and field staff to support the planning, coordination, and execution of site development projects. Key Responsibilities: + Assist Project Managers in overseeing project schedules, budgets, and documentation. + Coordinate with field crews, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure work aligns with specifications and timelines. + Track project progress, change orders, RFIs, and submittals using construction management software. + Perform site visits to monitor progress and ensure quality and safety compliance. + Help prepare project estimates, takeoffs, and bid packages. + Maintain accurate records and reporting throughout all phases of the project. + Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to address project needs and resolve issues. Qualifications: + 2+ years of experience in civil construction, with a focus on wet utilities, excavation, or site development. + Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred but not required). + Working knowledge of reading and interpreting civil drawings and specifications. + Familiarity with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, or similar). + Strong organizational and time-management skills. + Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. + Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites in the Greater Philadelphia area.
