Summary:

Goldbelt Taku is seeking a highly experienced Assistant Program Manager to join our dynamic team of Information Technology (IT) professionals.  As the Assistant Program Manager, you will be tasked with test environment infrastructure setup, implementation coordination and maintenance of IT Infrastructure and applications, Middleware application and Database applications for our government client.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

Coordinate with the business team, developers, technical organizations, and other affected areas to plan and implement the major infrastructure and application releases in test and production environments for customer/client applications.Work with technical teams to develop release and deployment plans. Communicate to business partners the status of the release through the test cycle and production environments.Lead the project team to ensure successful execution of assigned projects or project scope elements. Demonstrate an ability to interface and consult with all levels of Management and interface with Customer contacts and execute the deliverable.Overall responsibility will be to ensure that the responsible IT Infrastructure environment is functioning as expected. In the event of an issue the Project manager will coordinate and schedule technical teams to troubleshoot any issues and report on the incident causing the issue. For this reason, it will also be the responsibility of the Project manager to approve all changes going into the environment to avoid change conflict. Maintaining environment up time is mission critical to the delivery of business-critical projects on time. Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

Strong understanding of Mail various platforms like AIX, Solaris, OS390, AS/400 and Windows OS are required.Understanding of TCP/IP communication protocolsUnderstanding of .Net FrameworkStrong knowledge in Microsoft web servers II 6.0 and IIS 7.0Strong understanding of Secure Certificates (SSL)Knowledge in IBM WebSphere Application serversShell Script programming in UNIX/LINUX environmentFamiliarity in IT Architecture, mainly heterogeneous networkPractical knowledge of SubVersion or other Source Control packages, preferably in Clear Case.Strong understanding of Software/System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processesStrong understanding of ITIL Service Management standard and implementation processKnowledge of build management tools such as CVS, Subversion or Visual Source SafeAbility to lead and influence others, and drive collaborative work sessionsMust work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and be able to manage multiple tasks, projects, and initiatives all with different priorities at the same time.Excellent Written and Verbal communications skillsDemonstrated customer relationship and communication skillsAbility to speak fluent English with strong interpersonal skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Outstanding analytical and problem-solving capabilities.Ability to work independently and complete projects with minimal supervision.Sound understanding of coding and development processes.Ability to write clean, easy to understand code.Well-versed in technologies such as C#, JavaScript, and SQL databases.Capability to collaborate with a group of developers.Ability to adapt quickly to a multicultural environment.Demonstrated knowledge and experience with the following technology stack:.NET Framework version 4.7 or greaterGitNPMWindows Server 2019 or greaterMicrosoft Internet Information System (IIS) 10.0Microsoft SQL Server 2016 or greater and SQL database schema creationAWS GovCloud service offeringsDemonstrated knowledge of the following coding technologies:Asp.NETC#, TSQL, HTML, CSSAngular 4 or greaterAngular JavaScriptBootstrap

 Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering degree from an accredited college or university.Minimum 10+ years of demonstrated hands-on experience developing C# / .NET solutions with at least 5 years of experience supporting DoD or Federal projects.Minimum 3+ years' experience in a progressive IT environment involving product release and/or change managementMinimum 2+ years' experience in project management or formal planning and scheduling activitiesMinimum 2+ years' experience in basic troubleshooting and problem resolution with software/system deploymentsMinimum 2+ years of IT project coordination experience with a track record of on-time and within budget deliveryExperience in utilizing project management methodologies, best practices and processesExperience Managing and Driving resolution relative to Action Items, Issues, Risks, Dependencies, and EscalationExperience with working in an agile environment. Experience with full-stack development.Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Tier-1 / National Agency Check with Law and Credit (NACLC) background investigation in accordance with DODI 5200.02-DoD Personnel Security Program (PSP).Must be a US Citizen. 

Preferred Qualifications:

Current Certified Information Systems Security Professional - Information Systems Security Architecture Professional (CISSP-ISSAP) certification.

Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certification applicable to Windows Server and/or SQL Server.

Strong Knowledge in Microsoft Technology architecture is desired.

The salary range for this position is $235,000 - $250,000 per year.
