University of Rochester: Office of the Provost: University of Rochester Medical Center: School of Medicine and Dentistry: Surgery: Surgery: Regional Surgery **Salary Range or Pay Grade** $250,000 - $425,000 **Description** The Division of Regional Surgery at the University of Rochester is looking to hire a full-time general surgeon at the assistant or associate professor level to join our regional surgical team. The ideal candidate will establish a comprehensive community practice at UR Medicine-affiliated community hospitals. There are opportunities to contribute to the development of regional clinical programs, including patient care, teaching, surgical quality, administrative responsibilities, and community outreach. The selected individual will also build a practice by strengthening relationships with referring physicians in the community. Applicants must be board certified or board eligible in General Surgery. Candidates with fellowship training or additional specialized surgical training are encouraged to apply. Salary and level of appointment will be based upon experience and qualifications. **Qualifications** Candidates must have completed medical school receiving an MD or equivalent and completed a full surgical training residency program and have passed standardized proficiency testing.
