No If Temporary, enter End Date: Position Summary The Kinesiology Department at the State University of New York at Cortland invites applications for a full-time tenure-track assistant professor with a specialization in motor behavior (motor learning/control). Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, research, academic advisement, and service. Major Responsibilities Teaching Provide instruction at both the undergraduate and graduate levels in motor behavior (motor learning/control) Provide instruction in other areas dependent on expertise Advise/mentor undergraduate and graduate students


Scholarship Implement an active research agenda that leads to nationally/internationally refereed publications and presentations Pursue external funding for research Direct graduate/undergraduate research projects

ServiceProvide service to the department, university, and professional organizations
Functional and Supervisory Relationships Reports to the academic department chair Works closely with department faculty


Required Qualifications Earned doctorate in Kinesiology or closely related discipline. Candidates who are ABD may be considered with expected completion of doctorate within one year from appointment date.
