We welcome candidates with teaching and research interests in one or more of the following areas: financial accounting and/or accounting theory. Consideration will be given to candidates for Assistant or Associate Professor positions. Required Qualifications Assistant Professor + Ph.D., from an AACSB accredited institution in the field of accounting at the time of hire, along with extensive industry experience + Qualify as Scholarly Academic (SA) by institutional AACSB standards + Evidence of ability to produce original and innovative scholarly research + Candidate must be able to teach courses at both the undergraduate and graduate level, both face to face and online + An active CPA license with experience in public or private accounting Associate Professor In addition to the required qualifications for Assistant: + 3-5 years teaching /research experience in an AACSB recognized University + Candidates should have an active research program demonstrating capacity for high level research and have an excellent record of classroom instruction + Ability to effectively teach financial accounting, accounting theory Preferred Qualifications + 10+ combined years of service in academics and/or public accounting + Prior teaching experience in a post-secondary educational setting + Demonstrated ability to use technology in creating and delivering course content + Online teaching experience + Candidates should demonstrate interest or willingness in teaching financial accounting, accounting theory and graduate-level accounting coursework will be viewed favorably.
