What Will You Do?Inventory Management:
Monitor inventory levels, identify potential shortages, and initiate replenishment actions. Ensure accurate stock records of raw-materials and minimize inventory carrying costs.Process Improvement:
Identify areas for improvement in production processes and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean manufacturing etc.,).Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) of self and team members related to production planning and control. Prepare MIS reports on production performance and identify areas for improvement.Collaboration & Communication:
Maintain effective communication with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth production operations. Address production issues and escalate critical problems to the Production Manager. Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…Production Planning & Scheduling:
To assist in optimizing production scheduling. Maintaining a master planning sheet of every project according to their CDD`s and tracking the progress of the same with the production team to ensure timely completion of the project. Analyse production capacity, resource availability and potential bottlenecks to optimize production flow. Coordinate with other departments (e.g., sales, engineering, procurement, logistics) to align production plans with overall business objectives. Raw material procurement planning as per project requirements to ensure seamless flow of cutting process. Take full responsibility for material cutting and ensure the availability of the cut parts to the production team as per schedule. To obtain designated OEE of CNC plasma cutting machine. To overview nesting process to ensure the scrap generation in cutting process are under control. Need to meticulously plan for re-usage of scrap materials to avoid project margin erosion. Collaborating with other cross functional teams to achieve production targets and deliveries. Your Experience Should Be... Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, or related field) or Diploma with equivalent experience. Experience: 6 – 8 years of experience in production planning & scheduling. Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., D365. SAP etc.,). Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Familiarity with production planning and scheduling software.Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and practices is additional
