Job DescriptionASSISTANT MANAGER – SUBSIDIARY REPORTINGBrief Job Description: To handle Month-end close, Financial Reporting and Controllership processesKey Accountabilities/Job Responsibilities:1) Preparation of Monthly financial statements, adjustment journals and annual Statutory accounts2) Analytical review of ledger accounts, commentary on variances3) Balance Sheet reconciliations4) Strong domain knowledge and able to support review process5) Good communication and networking skills to be able to reach out to various stakeholders for understanding of Business changes, variances in numbers and draft commentaries6) Drive initiatives on Process improvements7) Adhere to reasonable operational requests from the management.8) Work very closely with teams across delivery locations and clientPERSON SPECIFICATIONSESSENTIAL DESIRABLEWork Experience (Mention No. of years):• The candidate should have min. 6 -8 years of Work Experience in M-end process, Reporting of Final numbers• Prior experience in service/ BPO industry• Understanding of complete Trial Balance • Prior experience of relevant industryKnowledge/Qualifications/ Competency:• Semi-qualified/ qualified accountants• Good Communication Skills• Working knowledge of Hyperion Financial Management & Oracle• Proficiency in Microsoft Office skills Capabilities:• Domain expertise (Accounting & Reporting)• Detail and Analytical• Good communications skills• Multitasking skills• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.• Flexibility to work in different shifts Special Role (Customer Specific Requirement)• Understanding of the IFRS • Financial service industry experience
